Uğur has been with the core group since 1994. Uğur co-founded Pega with Saffet Çiçekdağı in 2000 and is primarily responsible for brokerage deals.

Having actively worked in this sector since 1989, Uğur is an expert in land acquisitions for development. His involvement in brokerage projects ranges from the initial stages of negotiation to the acquisition of land through land or share transfer. He has an extensive network with landlords, governmental authorities, local developers, and contractors. He manages all negotiations between parties, assists legal and financial consultants through the due diligence process, examines and consults on governmental permits, licenses and requirements, and realizes the freehold or leasehold acquisitions.

Uğur educated himself in the market, working with uncooperative landlords and inflexible governmental officers. The nature of brokerage success requires exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and market know-how, and Uğur has proven exceptional strength in these skills through his on-site experiences.

Uğur has solid local market knowledge and plays a significant intermediary role between the expectations of corporate clients and local players, making projects real even under the most difficult conditions.




Turkey’s real estate market has evolved through the personal relations and networking skills of entrepreneurs, who knew what it took to do business in Turkey. As one such entrepreneur, Uğur has worked his way up through numerous projects which have played a significant evolutionary role in the Turkish real estate market.

Uğur has been personally responsible for the transfer of roughly 5,000,000 m² of real property through land or share transfer and has closed acquisition transactions on behalf of many international and local clients including Enron Power, The US Department of State, Gillette, Deutsche Bank, Sama Dubai, and Redevco.
